Detailing Attendant

Detailing Attendant

Carol Automobile is currently looking for a Detailing Attendant to complete its team.

The successful candidate will have to complete the interior and exterior detailing of the vehicles including washing, waxing and other necessary aesthetic care.

Duties:

  • Complete interior and exterior cleaning of new and used vehicles;

  • Perform complete interior and exterior cleaning of customer vehicles;

Detailing Attendant

Service Advisor

Carol Automobile is currently looking for a Service Advisor to complete its team.

The successful incumbent is a Service Advisor who quickly builds rapport with customers and can successfully multi-task in a busy and dynamic Service department.

Requirement and experience:

  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driver record
  • Appointment booking experience in a busy shop or dealership
  • Previous Ford experience is an asset, but not mandatory

Duties:

  • Greeting customers on the phone or in person;
  • Scheduling appointments;
  • Explaining the nature of repairs to customers, liaising between the technician and the customer;
  • Providing repair recommendations to customers;

Lube Technician

Carol Automobile is currently looking for a Lube Technician to complete its team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lubricate all moving vehicle parts with specified lubricants.
  • Operate hand or compressed air powered grease gun to inject grease into units (springs, universal joints and steering knuckles).
  • Use spray gun to spray leaf springs with lubricant.
  • Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, shackles and rear axle housings.
  • Drain oil from crankcase and replenish with required amount.
  • Replace air and oil filters.
  • Add water to radiator and battery.
  • Check and adjust pressure of tires.
  • Rotate, repair and replace tires, when necessary.
  • Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
  • Comply with required health and safety regulations.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Performance Criteria:

  • Absence of "come-backs"
  • Cleanliness of work area.
  • Efficiency & timeliness in completing task and/or job.

Qualifications, Skill & Effort:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Solid understanding of automotive industry, first year apprentice preferred.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift tires and other heavy equipment.
  • Good visual acuity to assess work performance.

Working Conditions:

  • Routinely manage deadlines.
  • Routinely stand for prolonged periods.

  • Occasionally work outside of regular work hours.

Auto Body technician

Carol Automobile is currently looking for a Auto Body technician to complete its team.

Responsibilities:

Repair damaged body and parts of vehicles, as indicated on work order, in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications.

  •  Remove necessary vehicle parts to gain access to body fenders, includes; upholstery, trim, accessories, electrical, power window and seat operating equipment.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to file, grind and sand finished surfaces.
  • Use wrenches to remove and replace damaged panels, fenders and grills.
  • Utilize putty knife to fill depressions with body filler.
  • Weld or bolt replacement parts in position using wrenches or welding equipment.
  • Apply pneumatic frame straightening machine to straighten distorted vehicle frames

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma.
  • Technical knowledge of all phases of vehicle body, including laser measuring and unibody structure.
  • 4-5 years' technical training and/or in-house apprenticeship leading to Body Man license

Skill :

Excellent decision making skills to assess work in shop.

  • Able to lift heavy weight with assistance.
  •  Strong concentration abilities.
  • Computer aptitude to use laser-measuring system.
  • Manual dexterity.
